Postnatal Lactation Consultation
This involves observation of a full breastfeed and assessment of baby in which we may discuss some of the following:

Your immediate concerns with breastfeeding

Normal process of milk coming in

Evaluation of your latching and positioning technique

Assessment of your breasts and nipples - degree of damage, engorgement, blocked ducts, mastitis + remedies

How your body language affects milk flow

Weaning
Follow Up Postnatal Consultation

A follow up visit involves a discussion about how things are going or if a new problem has presented, we can re-assess your situation and make a new plan.
​
Follow up consultations provide ongoing support that makes a difference.
All education is evidenced-based and being well informed is to every woman's benefit, enabling them to reach their best breastfeeding outcome.

All consultations are done in the privacy of your own home face to face, where you can relax and ask lots of questions.
​
A full medical, pregnancy and breastfeeding history will be taken in order to determine how this may affect your breastfeeding outcome. This will equip Faye to best support you and your baby.

1 HOUR - Discussion and reassessment where necessary.

**Based in Charlestown, NSW. Up to 40km travel is included in the price. From 40-60km incurs an additional $50 travel fee.
